Thanks for visiting my site! My name is Eleni Pappas, friends call me Lani! Here’s a little about me and my journey as an artist. I grew up in So Jersey with 2 rad brothers and a super Greek dad & hippy mom. I was into riot girl, conjuring spirits in our haunted house & chilling in my high school art class. After graduating from Rutgers U for Art & showing paintings all over Philly, I moved to SoCal & worked as a full time artist for Trader Joe’s for 7 years. Best job ever and transitioned my fine art to illustration. When I got tired of drawing fruit people (mostly known for my grapes with eyes lol), I became a high school art teacher. Hi to my old students reading this! After over a decade in San Diego, I switched everything up once again & moved back to the east coast & taught at PAFA. My day job now is helping people as a public servant which is totally gratifying and not creative but leaves me super creative in my free time! I continue to do freelance, typically for bands, record labels & small business. My Jerz/SoCal vibes are now planted in PA, chilling with fam, hiking, yogi-ing, adventuring with my kiddos, dorking out, and continuing to draw…
